ABSTRACT:
A simple conductivity method has been used to measure the volume of an object such as glass rod immersed in the standard electrolyte solution using a specially designed conductivity cell. This method has been proposed to measure rat paw edema, using an electrolyte solution isotonic with blood such as aqueous 0.9% NaCl solution.
