ABSTRACT:
Nano robotics is a new and emerging discipline that combines nanotechnology and robotics to develop Nano scale robots that can execute specific tasks at atomic, molecular, and cellular levels. The Nano robots, which are usually between 1 and 100 nanometres in size, are intended to function in different biomedical applications such as cancer treatment, targeted drug delivery, surgery, and gene therapy. By means of sophisticated fabrication methods, Nano robots can be made from biocompatible materials with little immune reaction and effective functioning in the body. Medical Nanorobots like respirocytes, microbivores, and clottocytes imitate biological processes to maximize therapeutic benefit. Respirocytes work as artificial RBCs, transporting O2 and CO2with high efficiency, whereas microbivores are used as artificial white blood cells that destroy pathogens with high accuracy. Clottocytes, meanwhile, quickly restore blood clotting, minimizing haemorrhage complications. Sensors, actuators, and on-board computational systems integrated into them provide the ability to navigate autonomously and sense in real-time, enhancing diagnostic efficacy and therapeutic accuracy. In spite of their exciting potential applications, Nano robot development is plagued by challenges in terms of fabrication difficulty, biocompatibility, navigating within the body, and ethical issues. Advances in nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, and biomedical engineering, however, keep addressing these impediments, paving the way towards disruptive medical applications. With increasing research, Nano robotics is poised to revolutionize medicine with non-invasive, extremely effective, and personalized therapies.
